CYC One Stop Automotive Sdn Bhd, founded in 2020, initially focused on traditional auto repairs. Leveraging the founder’s years of experience, the company quickly transformed into a technology-driven enterprise, developing the complete Automotive Flushing Service Maintenance system, bringing innovation to Malaysia’s automotive aftermarket.

CYC promotes proactive vehicle maintenance, using scientific, systematic, machine-assisted methods to keep vehicles in optimal condition, reduce breakdown risks, and extend their lifespan.

Today, CYC is a leading brand in Malaysia for automated vehicle maintenance, with authorized partner workshops and strategic collaborators nationwide. Over 100 workshops adopt our system, and our own centers have completed thousands of machine-assisted maintenance services, earning high customer satisfaction. Looking ahead, CYC continues to expand its services and drive the industry toward systematic, data-driven, and standardized maintenance.

At the beginning of our company’s establishment, we operated under the name CYC ONE STOP AUTOMOTIVE CENTER and used the corresponding logo.

As the company grew, we registered our trademark in 2022 and established the company as CYC ONE STOP AUTOMOTIVE SDN BHD, while also optimizing our logo.

The founding of CYC stemmed from founder Choon Tan’s careful consideration after the first MCO lockdown in September 2020. Choosing not to name the brand after himself, Choon Tan wanted CYC to represent a commitment to each customer rather than just a personal symbol. The name CYC stands for “Caring Your Car,” reflecting the philosophy of “caring for your car with dedication.”

To Choon Tan, a car is not just a means of transportation but an important asset for individuals and families. It is a “second home,” providing a sense of belonging and ensuring safety throughout various life stages. Thus, “caring for your car” became our most important mission.

CYC is always customer-centered, adhering to the principle of “viewing every car from the customer’s perspective.” We challenge ourselves and our team to ask: “If this were my car, how would I treat it?” This mindset infuses our service with more care and responsibility.

Founder Story:
Choon Tan

Choon Tan’s journey in automotive repair began in his childhood. Although he was not a fan of academic studies, he was passionate about disassembling and assembling things. His first “project” was the family’s motor bike, and from that moment on, he developed an enduring connection with automotive repair. At the age of 15, Choon Tan started his apprenticeship in car repair, initially working on local automatic and manual vehicles and gradually expanding his expertise to include turbocharged hybrid cars and European and American vehicles. His diverse experience spans working with classic cars, racing cars, Used Car Modification Workshop, Authorized Service Centers, Independent Specialty Workshops and General Automotive Workshops, accumulating extensive hands-on experience.

At the age of 30, Choon Tan became a workshop owner. Although the experience was filled with challenges and hardships, the valuable insights he gained played a significant role in advancing his career. When his wife asked, “How long do you think you can continue working on cars? After all, it’s physically demanding,” it prompted him to reassess his future. Consequently, he decided to end his workshop operations and pursue new learning opportunities and career directions. Within three months, he chose to return to his passion for automotive repair and resumed his role as a technician.

During this period, Choon Tan had the opportunity to connect with many technicians. Through exchanges and sharing, he deeply appreciated the value of practical technical knowledge. This led him to create a Facebook group called “Automotive Repair Exchange and Sharing,” aimed at fostering communication and learning among repair technicians from different regions and fields. This platform not only provides opportunities for technicians to learn and exchange ideas but also helps car owners better understand automotive maintenance and repair, enhancing communication with repair professionals.

By chance, Choon Tan accepted an invitation from his former boss to manage a newly opened repair workshop. Although he achieved significant results with the new team, philosophical and directional differences led him to decide to start his own venture again. Shortly after launching his new business, the MCO (Movement Control Order) presented a challenge that prevented him from operating. During this period, Choon Tan discovered online methods for automotive flushing of cooling systems. He began studying and optimizing this technology, exploring its potential for local application. Further research revealed various mechanized maintenance methods, leading him to develop a comprehensive automotive flushing maintenance solution. This solution not only addressed the physical demands on technicians but also improved the safety and efficiency of the repair environment while offering car owners a more economical, faster, and transparent maintenance option.

The establishment of CYC is based on these experiences and insights, dedicated to enhancing the quality and efficiency of automotive maintenance and repair through innovative technology and exceptional service. The Beginning of CYC's Journey

CYC was officially founded by Founder Mr. Choon Tan following the first Movement Control Order (MCO). Despite a challenging market environment, the team remained committed to its vision, continuously operating during difficult times while exploring more efficient and innovative service approaches to meet customer needs. With strong determination and consistent execution, CYC gradually built a solid foundation for future growth.

2021

The Birth of Machine-Based Maintenance Technology

In 2021, CYC officially introduced its machine-based automotive maintenance technology, marking a significant innovation in the automotive repair industry. The company began implementing a range of machine-based maintenance equipment in its own workshop and continuously developed localized solutions based on market needs. At the same time, CYC actively shared industry knowledge through social media, gradually building market awareness and recognition. This stage laid the essential foundation for the transformation from traditional repair services into a systemized technical model.

2022

Technology Advancement & Brand Establishment

As industry recognition continued to grow, CYC ONE STOP AUTOMOTIVE SDN BHD was officially established, initiating the commercialization of machine-based maintenance equipment. In the same year, CYC registered the “CYC” trademark, covering repair services, machinery equipment, and additives, strengthening its brand protection and intellectual property framework. Through continuous R&D and market expansion, CYC further advanced the adoption of machine-based maintenance solutions, accelerating industry standardization.

2023

Technical Breakthrough & Brand Growth

In 2023, CYC relocated to Taman Mas, upgrading its workshop facilities and technical capabilities to significantly improve operational efficiency and service quality. The company also launched a new engine sludge cleaning machine, further enhancing its machine-based maintenance solution system. CYC actively organized industry sharing sessions to present the latest technological developments and trends. In the same year, CYC was awarded the SIR International Brand Certification and the WCPCC Consumer Protection Brand Certification, strengthening its professional reputation and industry credibility.

2024

Establishing a New Industry Standard in Puchong Utama

In 2024, CYC officially established its presence in Puchong Utama, marking a new phase of stable growth and scalable operations. Following the machine-based maintenance philosophy, the company fully upgraded traditional workshop operations, creating a higher-standard working environment equipped with air-conditioned facilities and eco-friendly exhaust systems to improve both employee and customer experience. In the same year, CYC received the ShangHai Business Leadership Award, further affirming its innovation strength and leadership position in the industry.

2005

System Integration & Partner Ecosystem Expansion

As the partnership ecosystem continued to evolve, more partners fully adopted CYC’s brand and standardized operational system, forming a unified, efficient, and replicable service framework that drives continuous ecosystem expansion. At the same time, the CYC partner classification system was fully implemented (Equipment User / Brand Partner / Partner Workshop), further strengthening structural clarity and operational standards across the ecosystem. This year, CYC’s machine-based maintenance model continued to gain strong acceptance and support from car owners, further validating its real-world value and effectiveness, and driving the brand toward a new stage of system integration, partner alliance, and ecosystem expansion.

ENGINE LUBRICANT OIL FLUSHING: Utilizes advanced equipment to remove sludge from the engine, improving performance, reducing wear on internal components, and extending their lifespan.

ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM FLUSHING: Removes deposits and impurities from the cooling system to ensure normal engine temperature and prevent overheating and damage.

Developed to clean carbon deposits and sludge on engine piston rings, helping restore ring elasticity and improving oil control performance. It effectively reduces oil consumption issues caused by stuck or carbonized piston rings. When used with an engine lubricant oil flushing machine, it delivers more effective cleaning results.

Oil Seal Activator

Restores cylinder compression and engine power while helping reduce fuel consumption. Repairs wear gaps between piston rings and cylinder walls, effectively reducing oil burning and blue smoke issues. It also restores elasticity of oil seals and O-rings to help prevent oil leakage.

With over 30 years in automotive repair and technical management, Choon Tan has been active in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics since the 1990s. He has deep hands-on expertise with Japanese and European vehicles and stays attuned to market trends and government policies.

He holds the SKM Level 3 Automotive Repair Diploma (JPK) and actively participates in technical research and mechanized equipment development. As founder of the Automotive Repair Knowledge-Sharing Community, he understands workshops’ challenges and car owners’ needs.

Guided by “Innovation Through Practice,” he has led the development of CYC’s third-generation mechanized maintenance systems, driving standardization and professionalism nationwide. Through executive training at OE Young Entrepreneurs Academy, he has strengthened CYC’s strategic planning and partnerships, integrating advanced technology and quality products to set new benchmarks in Malaysia’s automotive after-market.

The management team of CYC is led by founder Choon Tan, with co-founder Theng Theng providing close support.

At CYC, she brings corporate management expertise to the automotive service industry, overseeing customer experience design, SOP development, and brand system operations. Leveraging meticulous execution and service-oriented thinking, she transforms Choon Tan’s technical innovations into replicable, standardized systems, enabling mechanized maintenance to move from “innovation” to full systemization and brand adoption nationwide.
